High School Grade 10
Grade 10 is another important year for students. Having adjusted to the rigors of high school in Grade 9, students can continue to work hard and develop the skills necessary for success in high school and beyond. We want students to work hard focusing on their classes and their grades, while beginning to explore their academic and career interests. Also, Student Services will work with students on an individual basis to help create a schedule for them that emphasizes each of their strengths and interests.
Students should continue to get involved in clubs, sports, and other community service related activities as it will help them grow and develop into more well-rounded citizens of society. In addition, getting involved in extracurricular activities will boost a student's university application in the coming years.
We also encourage students to get involved during their summer months. Whether it's taking an academic course, interning, working, traveling, or volunteering somewhere, there are thousands of ways students can get involved. Please refer to ourHigh School Summer Programs site for some ideas on summer activities.
