Mr. David was born in Quebec City, Canada, where he learned both French and English at a young age. After first pursuing a few careers in science, he realized his calling was in teaching. In order to gain some international experience, he left Canada to spend a few years teaching in a private school in Taiwan, all while picking up some Chinese along the way. It marked the beginning of his professional journey.

This year, along with assuming Head of Department duties, Mr. David will be teaching Chemistry, AP Chemistry and Health Science. He will be bringing his diverse work experiences and scientific background to his lessons as well as continue to foster a learning environment that is both challenging and supportive. Mr. David aims to inspire curiosity and a love for understanding phenomena, encouraging students to explore and question the world around them. His teaching philosophy emphasizes the idea that education should bring students to think critically and develop a profound understanding of the subjects they study.
