TCIS HS Art hosted Japanese Wood Block Workshops with British artist Ralph Kiggell this past week. Students were able to create multiple prints while learning this versatile technique in Ms. Elizabeth Jendek's art room. Students from all HS divisions had a great time. 

Ralph Kiggell practices and teaches water-based woodblock printing, and exhibits around the world. Ralph Kiggell is a British artist who was born in Africa. He received extensive training in woodblock printing from Toshi Yoshida Studio in Tokyo, Kyoto Seika University in Kyoto and Tama Art University in Tokyo. Kiggell was a lecturer at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, from 2011 to 2016.
