TCIS Peer Tutoring
Student Services has started a Peer Tutoring program where TCIS students can receive free tutoring from other TCIS students. Our student volunteers will receive community service hours for becoming a Peer Tutor, which will help towards completing the community service portion of our graduation requirements. All Peer Tutors are required to keep track of their tutoring hours (a Peer Tutoring Hours Log form is available on this page to help with this task).
Students wishing to become Peer Tutors should fill out the Peer Tutor Application form, and submit it to Student Services. Likewise, students wishing to receive tutoring should fill out the form. Student Services will then match students together.
Peer tutors and students receiving tutoring can work on their own schedules (before school, during breaks or lunch, after school, etc.).
Please visit Student Services if you have any questions about becoming a Peer Tutor or if you would like to receive tutoring in any subject area.
